adjustment ease

simply pull down on the fingertip rest, re-align the notches to the clip length wanted, then press the fingertip rest back into the slots

The adjustable length feature went through several design iterations because the adjustment for every early design required too much effort, was too difficult to adjust, or impaired the operation of the nail clipper. Through evolution of the design, this simple two-step adjustment process was discovered, and is one of the key elements of the design. How is the adjustment arm held in place? By pressure applied by the adjustment arms inward against the inside of the slots in the clipper plate!
